Facelift Prices and Payment Options
Since cosmetic surgery is elective, health insurance does not cover the costs. This makes pricing an important factor when deciding on a face lift. At the same time, satisfaction with the results also must be factored into the equation. Your face is intrinsic to your sense of self and should be in the hands of a skilled and experienced surgeon.
Throughout his career, Dr. Craig Foster’s talent and integrity have been profiled in publications such as Vogue, More, Elle, Glamour, Allure, W, and others. His "Park Avenue Boutique" plastic surgery center is known for its natural-looking results and has a loyal following of repeat patients, a testament to their satisfaction. After a consultation in his Manhattan offices, Dr. Foster can advise you on facelift costs and provide a quote to help you understand the pricing.
Face lift prices vary widely depending on the procedure and the extent of work needed. Geographic location influences the price as well, with pricing in cities like New York reflecting the higher costs of a cosmopolitan city. A surgeon’s experience and certifications influence the cost as does his reputation, similar to any field where design and aesthetics matter.
Some of the costs to be factored in face lift surgery:
- Surgeon’s fee
- Pre- and post-operative consultations
- Surgical facility costs
- Anesthesia fees
- Post-surgery garments
- Medical tests
Variables are intrinsic to face lift surgery so “ballpark” estimates or averages are a poor guide to pricing. Each person is unique and it is difficult - if not impossible - to determine costs without examining the patient in person. A consultation with an individualized quote is essential for accurate estimates.
By understanding your current situation and your goals, we can provide a more accurate quote. Our quotes include pricing for all surgeon’s fees, medical facility fees and anesthesiologist fees, though the anesthesia medication is a separate charge due to variables regarding the anesthesia used.
We also include the cost for surgical garments and bands. Prescription medications for recovery are not included in the quote since these vary with the patient, but we can provide estimates of typical charges.
We accept cash, certified check and credit cards. Financing plans can make cosmetic surgery affordable and we accept medical financing through CareCredit.
If you need to schedule your surgery in advance and hold a surgery date, a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of 20 percent is required. This deposit is applied to the surgery cost.
As with any surgery, there is a risk of complications, which may incur added costs such as hospitalization or additional procedures. We advise patients to be aware of these costs, which may not be covered by health care insurance.
If you are considering cosmetic surgery, place call us for a consultation to discuss pricing and financing options. If you do not want to wait for a facelift, flexible payment plans may be available. Our patient coordinators are familiar with financing plans that can fit your budget.
