Double Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat), Dr. Craig Foster also holds two doctorate degrees in both Medicine and Dentistry from the University of Minnesota, completing both degrees in only five years.  Dr. Foster completed his General Surgery Residency and an Otolaryngology Residency at the University of Minnesota and affiliated hospitals. At New York University (NYU) Medical Center Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, he completed a Plastic Surgery Residency and was admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1987. For several years he served as Director of the Facial Plastic Clinic of The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Recognized Expert

Recognized as an expert in complicated Rhinoplasty, Facial, Eyelid and Brow Surgery, Breast Reduction and Enhancement, Abdominalplasty, andCastle_Connolly_Top_Docs_small.jpg Liposuction techniques, Dr. Craig Foster has often been called upon to lecture at national conferences on these and other related topics. Dr. Foster has co-authored a surgical textbook and numerous publications on Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgical procedures.

Background

While his Park Avenue practice exclusively focuses on cosmetic surgical procedures, during his 26 year career, Dr. Foster has also given of his time and talent to benefit children born with deformities. He has repaired countless cleft palates and created ears for children born without them..

Dr. Craig Foster is affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, and houses his own operating room and recovery suite in his Park Avenue offices directly across from Lenox Hill Hospital.
